ARINC even bigger at London Heathrow

 

ARINC has further expanded its presence at London Heathrow Airport with its CUSS kiosk technology.

Some 189 new self service kiosks have been installed by ARINC, now used by 32 airlines in Terminals 1, 3 and 4. A further eight are being implemented. “It has been a huge success” says Tony Chapman, Senior Director, Integrated Travel Solutions, as automated passenger processing solutions become ever more critical for airports today. Up to 400,000 coupons a month are being issued at LHR. Older generation kiosks have been gradually replaced with the new A2 Series kiosks from ARINC’s partner IBM. Both types of kiosk were fully supported throughout the process to ensure a smooth switchover.
