In response to a great need for the efficient, reliable, highly secure communication of Advanced Passenger Information (API) among Border Control Agencies (BCAs) and airlines, we are offering the quick and easy implementation of Rockwell Collins’ ARINC Electronic Borders - a common‑language application that translates messages from disparate agencies and systems around the world.

ARINC Electronic Borders allows passenger information to be examined long before check-in—helping to optimize efficiency and passenger flow as critical new security requirements are instituted. By using ICAO-defined machine readable zones (MRZs) on passports, information is stored and processed electronically, and data is then translated into required BCA formats.

No new system development, or even the modification of existing systems, is necessary. The global Rockwell Collins ARINC AviNet® network provides the ultimate solution. With the infrastructure already in place, ARINC Electronic Borders is configured to be as cost-effective as possible.
